THE ILLUSTRATED ENSEMBLE No. 25

A MIDNIGHT MOVIE

1

Wearing my Carven Collared Plaid Shirt

and Acne Beryl Cardigan,

Can't go to the movies without a movie sweater.

I posted about this cardigan

on my first blog post ever and

two years later it's still the best one.

All throughout October they've been showing Midnight Horror Movies

on original 35mm film at Nitehawk Cinema,

perfect thing to do since it's only a few blocks walk away from our place.

We caught Evil Dead II (not Halloween month without at least one Evil Dead),

the terrible 80's movie Trick or Treat which is about a heavy metal ghost

and my one of my all time favorites, Suspiria.

Watching Suspiria in a movie theater was a way different experience than when

I had only watched it on a television -

the crazy soundtrack by 70's prog rock band Goblin

is so much more intense and

so with Dario Argento's technicolor hues.

If you ever can see Suspiria on the big screen, don't miss it.

Happy Halloween
