ONE TWO THREE

These are the three things I got on my very last 3.1 Phillip Lim personal order.

I used to work for the company and the 3.1 family, always kind, let me keep my order even after I left.

The Pre-Fall 2011 Collection was also the last line review I was a part of. Because of the way the fashion calendar works, the review happened last winter so it was a bit bittersweet that all of the pieces were so perfect to wear right that moment but wouldn't be available until the next year. Phillip introduced the Single Breasted Long Camel Coat (I believe it also comes in Navy) during the review and he explained all of the many different ways you can wear it. It comes with a detachable scarf so the options are endless. Perhaps the most genius feature of it is that inside the coat it has little armstraps under the shoulder so that you can put your arms through the straps (like you would a backpack) and do the whole coat on your shoulder style without feeling like it'll fall off. You can run, jump, hail a cab and it stays put on your shoulders.

The shape is also so classic, I've always wanted a Camel coat ever since I saw Love Story years ago. Just never found the right one. When asked at the line review who would be ordering the coat, I think every girl in the room raised their hand. Fast forward to now and I'm happy these things are here.
