Notes: Wedding Flowers

 

One of my favorite things about planning my wedding with Andrew was deciding on the floral arrangements. The following weekend after we exchanged vows at The Rothko Chapel in Texas we had a intimate sit down dinner catered by Narcissa at the top of The Standard Hotel in the East Village.

 

For this celebration I was so lucky to have my first choice of florist, the brilliant Taylor Patterson at Fox Fodder Farm. For the Texas ceremony, I used a different florist and only had to worry about one arrangement, which was my lily of the valley bouquet. For the party, there were multiple areas where we needed flowers so I left it all up to Taylor to choose which flowers were in season that June - my only request was that the palette was mostly white. 

 

For some of the arrangements, Taylor used beautiful white vases by Judy Jackson. Unfortunately someone stole all of them at the end of the night (I know) but I loved them so much that I ordered some replacement vases to keep in our apartment. I’ll post some photos of them and more details from our wedding soon.
